The chairman of KT “Podkrepa” in Sliven Emil Petkov met with the mayor Stefan Radev. He handed him a congratulatory address from the President of the Confederation, Eng. Dimitar Manolov, on the occasion of Radev’s re-election for a third term.
“Your professionalism, experience and determination will be useful for solving the important problems in the Municipality in the interest of its citizens. I am convinced that during your third mandate you will work to improve the living environment in Sliven and defend the key interests of this important region for Bulgaria,” Manolov wrote.
He is confident that the Municipality will continue the successful management policy of building Sliven as a European city, offering quality and modern education, developed infrastructure, accessible social services, clean nature, investment opportunities.
For his part, Stefan Radev thanked for the wishes for success and added that the trade union organizations have a partner in him. “Everything we do, we do it for the benefit of society. I believe that with common efforts we will turn Sliven into an even better place for life, education and development,” said the mayor for his part.
The meeting was also attended by Zhelyazko Popov – deputy chairman of KT “Podkrepa”-Sliven, Dimitar Nedev – regional secretary and the former leader of the trade union Bozhidar Kisiov.
Since taking office for the third term, Stefan Radev has received congratulatory addresses from MEP Asim Ademov, people’s representatives, from the National Association of Municipalities in Bulgaria, embassies of other countries in Bulgaria, heads of institutions, etc.
