Representatives of the management of the Institute of Oceanology visited the University of Rousse – Rousse.Info

On 20.11.2023, the University of Rousse was visited by representatives of the Institute of Oceanology “Prof. Fritjof Nansen” at the BAS. Prof. Dr. Eng. Lyubomir Dimitrov – Deputy Director for International Activities and Associate Professor Dr. Kremena Stefanova – Deputy Director for Research Activities at the Institute met with the Rector of the Higher School – Academician Hristo Beloev and the Deputy Rector for Internationalization and communication policy – Assoc. Dr. Desislava Atanasova.

The Rector of the University of Ruse was awarded a jubilee badge of honor of the Institute of Oceanology “Prof. Fritjof Nansen” for merits in spreading knowledge about the aquatic environment; training of highly qualified specialists, conducting fundamental and applied scientific research and implementing innovations in practice, as well as for fruitful cooperation in the project activity for sustainable development of the region and the country.

The guests got acquainted with the new additions to the material base of the University of Ruse.

In the talks, the possibilities for future project and research activities were discussed.
