“Maternal care” with its most successful ball with support of the talented children of Dobrich (VIDEO)

The most successful charity ball in the history of “Mother’s Care”, reports the association in Dobrich. The traditional ball, which the association organized on the occasion of the Day of the Christian Family, with the aim of supporting talented children from Dobrich in a disadvantaged situation, was held on Friday at the “ErKa” restaurant. The event was attended by more than 350 guests, and the amount collected from the campaign so far is 97,575 BGN, which is a record, said Desislava Koleva, the chairman of “Mother’s Care”, in the studio of the “Dobrudzha” media group. She specified that donations continue to be made to the association’s account and expects the amount to exceed BGN 100,000. We achieved it with great desire, with great organization. We were all united and the result is visible. I am very pleased with it, Koleva said, stressing that the costs for the organization were minimal.
The amount was collected both from donations to the account of the association, as well as from the charity ball auction with various items and a raffle with prizes. Many of the talents, scholarship holders of the association took part in the program of the ball, and Petya Buyuklieva was a special guest.

This is the 27th ball organized by Mother’s Care to raise funds to support talented children in need. Every year, about 20 children are supported by “Mother’s Care” precisely thanks to the funds collected from the charity ball.
In the next week, the received requests for assistance in the following year will be considered. We are keeping track of the funds we have collected. Therefore, I think that this year we will not have any difficulties if the requests are more, indicated the chairman of the association.

Since last year, “Mother’s Care” has had its own club, which Koleva considers a serious plus in the activity of the association.

At the end of this week, “Mother’s Care” also organized a charity chess session with grandmaster Momchil Petkov, who has been among the scholarship recipients of the association for 11 years. The event will be held on November 25 at 11:00 a.m. in the lobby of the Youth Center – Dobrich. The invitations for those who wish to participate are worth BGN 100, and the 18-year-old grandmaster Momchil Petkov will face them. The collected funds will also be added to the amount to support the talented children of Dobrich.
