In the Targovishte region, the construction of eight residential buildings began in the third quarter of 2023.

In the third quarter of this year, the construction of eight residential buildings with 29 dwellings in them and a total built-up area of ​​2,608 square meters began in the Targovishte region. Six other buildings have also been started, informs the Territorial Statistical Bureau – North East.
A comparative report of the institution shows that, compared to the previous quarter, the new residential buildings started increased by 60 percent, the dwellings in them – by 81.3 percent, and their total built-up area also increased. The number of started other types of buildings increased by 50 percent, but their total built-up area was 48.9 percent less, explained Boyan Bonev, chief expert in the “Statistical Research” department in Targovishte.
In the district, in the second quarter of 2023, six residential buildings were put into operation. Compared to the first quarter, the buildings are one less, and the dwellings in them are eight more.
Compared to the third quarter of 2022, new residential building starts decreased by 11.1 percent, housing units in them decreased by 23.7 percent, and their total built-up area decreased by 46.1 percent. Other building starts are one hundred percent more, as is their expanded built-up area by 111 percent.
Targovishte region is in 26th place in the country in terms of construction of new buildings.
