A few days ago, Jivko Petrov Trio went on tour again with the album “On The Way”, in which the musicians present 11 pieces related to beautiful places – Rome, New York, Montreal, Stockholm, Vienna, Oslo, Sofia, London, etc.

“We are happy. Musicians are happy when they are on the road. It is our pleasure that we will pass through beautiful Plovdiv for a second concert with the album “On The Way“. We will present our fifth album again, at the request of Her Majesty the public, of course. We will also present several compositions created especially for the soundtrack to Dimi Stoyanovich’s film “Flesh”, which is about to be released in 2024,” said maestro Zhivko Petrov in an interview with Radio Plovdiv.

The songs from the fifth album of the Zhivko Petrov Trio are not only heard on jazz radios in the USA and Canada, but are also most preferred by music editors and DJs in the States.
“It turned out that music has no boundaries. Thanks to one of our colleagues and a great friend – the wonderful guitarist Hristo Vichev, who took the initiative and released the pieces from the album of a big and well-known manager in the USA. He liked the music and offered to play it on the radio, and they responded. It is a great happiness for us. At the first moment, we couldn’t imagine what was happening, because these are 240 jazz radios that broadcast a huge amount of music. And at one point, JP3which are absolutely unknown on this market, are beginning to be preferred over many other music, for which we are grateful”, says Zivko Petrov.

Musicians Zhivko Petrov, Dimitar Semov and Dimitar Karamfilov will perform on stage in the First Studio of Radio Plovdiv on November 22. The tour started from Shumen, passed through Varna, and after Plovdiv the musicians will visit Sofia, Dobrich and Burgas.
“We invite our fans on our musical journey around the world to remember or imagine these places, the feeling of them, bring back the good memory and realize that glife is wonderful, and every moment of it should be appreciated”, affirms Zivko Petrov.
The concerts are organized by the Cultural Organization “Art Music Studio” and “JP Music”, with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture.
