The exhibition “Comfort for the Soul” was opened today in the Central Foyer of the Rectorate of Ruse University. It is dedicated to the Christian Family Day.
The exposition shows works of art by former and current graduates and teachers from the family of the Ruse Alma Mater. The initiative for the event is Assoc. Prof. Mira Dushkova, Head of the Department “Bulgarian Language, Literature, History and Art”, et al. Prof. Zivodar Dushkov.
The exhibition includes 88 author’s works. They are divided into 4 categories: 42 of the titles are poetic confessions, 25 books are in the prose genre, 11 are satirical works and 10 are memoirs. The works are in Bulgarian and English. They were written in the period between 1962 and 2023. The exhibition also includes paintings by Diana Georgieva, an employee of the University of Ruse.
