The case has been referred to the prosecutor’s office
Another case of violence between students, again documented on phone video. The participants are 13-year-old boys from the sports school in Silistra. The clips on social networks were shared by the mother of the bullied boy, who, according to her, has Asperger’s syndrome and hyperactivity. She claims that this is not the first case of verbal and physical aggression towards her son. Parents of the other participants, however, say their children were abused by the boy.
In “Hello, Bulgaria” on Nova TV, the mother of the boy injured in the clip said that she had received a complaint at the school that he had been attacked, the last case of aggression against him was from Friday. The vice-principal of the sports school said she found out about the videos on Sunday, as they were not requested by the victim’s mother. A committee was convened, which decided on a warning to transfer the aggressive students to another school, which must be approved by the pedagogical council. The social service in Silistra has referred the case to the prosecutor’s office, an investigation is underway, which will continue within 5 days.
