The Center for Public Support in Lovech organized a charity campaign to help a woman and her four grandchildren, whose house in the Lovech village of Slatina burned down in a fire yesterday morning.
Within a few hours after the fire, the woman and the children, the youngest of whom was one year old and the oldest seven, food, medicine, clothes and shoes are provided.
They are accommodated in a dwelling of theirs relative which however needs repair and furnishing, explained the director of the Center for Public Support in Lovech, Vesela Tsankova:
“Flooring will probably be installed in this house in the next day or two as it is under rough construction. In the dwelling, it is necessary to provide household utensils, furniture that are preserved, although not new.
Also, the need for food, medicine, winter clothes for the children, school supplies does not disappear. We will periodically provide information on identified needs.”
A municipal committee will assess whether the woman and the four children need temporary care accommodation in municipal housing in order to ensure it.
