The Museum of New History of Varna shows the film “The War That Will End All Wars” by the rock band “Sabaton”

The Museum of New History of Varna is participating in the “History rocks” project of the rock band “Sabaton”, the institution reports. On November 24 and 25, there will be two screenings of the full-length animated film “The War That Will End All Wars” ( The War To End All Wars), which is a production of the Swedish musicians and the animation studio “Yarnhub”.
Sabaton’s project involves distributing the production to over a hundred museums worldwide. In Bulgaria, the National History Museum, as well as the regional history museums in Stara Zagora and Pazardzhik, also participate in the initiative. The tape, which is 67 minutes long, focuses on individual episodes of the First World War, which served as inspiration for the songs on the group’s self-titled studio album. The single “The Valley of Death” is dedicated to the Doiran epic and General Vazov.
The goal of the project is to provide an engaging and educational experience for its fans and history buffs, as well as to stimulate museum attendance, organizers said.
The film was screened worldwide from November 4 to 19 – the period covering the two weeks surrounding the historic date of Armistice Day (November 11). Its audio is in English, but Bulgarian subtitles are provided, the museum adds. The screenings in Varna have free admission.
