The General Hospital for Active Treatment “St. Ivan Rilski-Razgrad AD purchased new medical equipment – a combined device for electro and magnetic therapy and a Solux lamp for the needs of the physiotherapy and rehabilitation department, reports the medical institution.

The use of electrotherapy in the field of physiotherapy is in acute and chronic pain, in the treatment of neuromuscular dysfunctions, etc. Magnetotherapy is a basic procedure in the specialty of physiotherapy. The therapy includes the following effects: analgesic and anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous and antispasmodic effect, improves blood circulation. The thermal effect of the Solux lamp has a healing, pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory and trophic effect on the tissues. It is used for sinusitis, otitis, plexitis, radiculitis, paresis of the facial nerve, neuralgia and after surgical operations, the Razgrad hospital notes.
