From April 22 in ruse begins handing outthat of food aid under the program co-financed by the European Social Fund plus. BCHK-ruse will provide them at a new location – Tulcha Street No. 15, behind the Milenia Hotel (in the Tovarna Gara area), and those entitled will be able to receive them until June 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., informs Ruse Media.

The lists have been drawn up by the Social Assistance Agency, and anyone can check by EGN whether they are eligible at the following address.

Food packages include 15 types of essential products – flour; rice; spaghetti; Lutenica; beans – green, sterilized; tomatoes – peeled, sterilized; peas – peeled, sterilized; Casserole – sterilized; jam – single fruit; chicken fricassee; herring in tomato sauce; beans – ripe, sterilized; lentils; sugar and oil. The weight of one package is 10.8 kg.

People who are part of a family of three and above will be eligible for both packages.

Giving awaythe aid will be in two tranches, and in the second, for the first time, there will be support with hygiene materials. They will be distributed later in the year with the last two types of canned meat from the food package.

The following are entitled to food packages:

  • individuals and families assisted with targeted heating assistance for the 2023/2024 heating season;
  • persons with low incomes of a family member entitled to a monthly allowance for raising a child up to 1 year old;
  • persons with more than 90 percent degree of disability with certain foreign assistance and low personal income from a pension, entitled to monthly financial support in accordance with the Law on Persons with Disabilities;
  • persons and families entitled to a monthly allowance for raising a child with a permanent disability;
  • persons and families entitled to one-time or monthly assistance under the Child Protection Act, intended for prevention and reintegration, raising the child with relatives and relatives and in foster families;
  • individuals and families assisted with one-time assistance for incidental needs;
  • persons and families with low incomes who were refused assistance with targeted heating assistance for the 2023/2024 heating season due to an exceeded threshold for access to the assistance or due to non-fulfillment of any of the other complex conditions for assistance, with a high level of material deprivation established.
