Singing group “Pastrenets Jr.” won first prize in the 18th Children’s and Youth Competition “Folklore Priumitsi” – Cherven Bryag. Winners in their age category are also the youngest graduates of the music teacher Asen Asenov, selected in the “Pastrenets Super Junior” group.

The soloists from the formation of the Youth House also performed excellently. Denitsa Ivanova, Miroljuba Angelova and Vyara Petkova won the first prizes. Second in the creative competition are Bozhidara Rangelova, Zornitsa Ivanova, Ruby Nicholson, Valeria Georgieva and Denis Yordanov. In third place, the jury ranked Maria Alexieva, Ivelina Dimitrova and Alexandra Zdravkova. Bozhidara Georgieva and Ioana Nikolaeva left the competition with incentive prizes.

The other singing group led by Asen Asenov – “Torlash Nightingales” from the First Primary School “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” won second prize at the “Folklore Priumitsi” competition. One of the most diligent singers in this group – Olga, received an incentive prize Sashova, who also appeared as a soloist for the first time.

The vocal children from all three groups performed mostly Torla songs, as well as songs from the Northern ethnographic region.

More than 100 young talents from 12 settlements, mostly from Northern Bulgaria, participated in the “Folklore Priumitsi” contest. They were evaluated by a jury made up of teachers at the National School of Arts in Pleven.
