“Dyakov” Gallery presents the solo exhibition of the interesting and distinctive Bulgarian artist, who does not often appear with solo exhibitions in Bulgarian galleries – Nikolay Kuchkov. The author named this exhibition on the occasion of 60 years since his first solo exhibition “Small Retrospective Exhibition”.

Nikolay Kuchkov studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Havana under Prof. Servando Cabrera Moreno, VTU “St. Cyril and Methodius” under Prof. Vasil Stoilov and Prof. Nikola Gelov, Monumental painting.

He has 26 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and dozens of awards, including the Annual Award of the “Dyakov” Gallery for contribution to fine art, “The Sword of Rompheus”, the Badge of Honor of the city of Plovdiv, etc. The artist has also published three poetry collections with author’s illustrations “Something”, “Two things” and “Three”.
