Thirty flowers in verse is described by Gina Dundova-Pancheva in her latest book “About flowers and letters”. It is part of the “Smart books” series of a well-known publishing house in our country. The poetess will present it on April 23, Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at “P. R. Slaveikov” – Veliko Tarnovo. The next day, April 24, Wednesday, together with maestro Stefan Diomov, Pancheva will be a guest at the Regional Library “P. R. Slaveykov” at 2 Ivanka Boteva Street from 11:00 a.m.
“On Flowers and Letters” is the third book in the series. Hers are also “On fish and letters” and “On birds and letters”.
“About 400,000 plants live on the planet, but some of them are threatened with extinction and it is necessary to learn to protect them, because everything on our Earth is interconnected and every living being is necessary. Flowers have different lifespans. Some live only one year, while others are biennial or perennial. They have different needs for heat and humidity as well as light. Therefore, in different places of the world, with different climates, different species live. Some grow even in deserts, although it is dry and there is no water. Our beautiful Bulgaria is extremely rich in wild flowers and the nature is magical! And the production of fragrant oil roses makes us famous all over the world. After I told you about the birds and the fish, it was the turn of the flowers. They make the world so beautiful and magical with their presence! Their fragrance and fabulous colors make us happy. In poems, I have embedded interesting facts about thirty flowers (that’s how many letters there are in our alphabet). So, we will take a journey into the world of flowers and letters. When you will be able to read on your own, a magical world of knowledge will open before you, which will bring you a lot of light and joy”, the poetess Gina Dundova-Pancheva reveals about her latest book.
