The Bulgarian ensemble finished in fourth place at the final with three ribbons and two balls at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku (Azerbaijan).
Magdalina Minevska, Sofia Ivanova, Kamelia Petrova, Rachel Stoyanov and Margarita Vasileva were evaluated with 32.850 (17.500 difficulty; 8.200 artistry; 7.150 performance) and remained one step away from the honorable ladder.
The gold medal was won by the ensemble of Japan with 33.350 points, followed by Spain with 33.150 and Italy also with 32.850 points. The Italian women have the same rating as Bulgaria, but they are third due to a higher performance value.
Earlier today, Bulgaria’s ensemble finished sixth in the five-hoop final, and fourth in the all-around.
Thus, the national team ends the tournament with four medals – three silver and one bronze. Elvira Krasnobayeva was second in the all-around and in the ribbon final, and Eva Brezalieva was second in the ball and third in the hoop.
