Five people have been detained for drugs in the Haskovo region in the last three days, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
One of them was arrested in Haskovo yesterday. The police received a report of a fight between a mother and son and were sent to an address on “Nesho Braykov” street in the “Republika” district. While stopping the dispute, they found in the room of the 36-year-old son a folder with a white powdery substance weighing 0.16 grams – amphetamine.
On the 19th, in Harmanli, the home of a 23-year-old man, located on “Tsar Ivan Asen” street, was checked. A gram of dry green foliage – marijuana – was found under a shed in the house.
The same type of drug was also found in a 37-year-old resident of Simeonov, who was checked in his hometown. When the police saw him, he tried to throw 6 grams of marijuana on the ground. During a subsequent inspection at his home on “Khan Asparuh” street, another 2 grams of marijuana and a grinder were found. The man was detained for up to 24 hours in the pre-trial proceedings.
The next day, a 41-year-old man was also detained in the Simeonovgrad precinct with a gram of cannabis.
On the 29th, a 36-year-old man from the village of Yablkovo spent the night in the Dimitrovgrad office, from whom 15 grams of methamphetamine were seized. His police measure was based on the speedy proceedings.
