Skopje talked with Bulgaria. He brought football into his campaign (VIDEO)

--

The Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) once again used primitive anti-Bulgarian propaganda in its election campaign, BGNES reported.

The party portrayed Bulgaria as a defender in a football match aggressively trying to stop the Macedonian striker from reaching the goal, implying that our country is stopping Macedonia for its European integration.

In the fictional match, for which a special video was made, Sofia and Skopje are presented as fierce opponents. The player wearing the Bulgarian colors pulls the Macedonian striker by the shirt. Greek and French “defenders” are also depicted, preventing the Macedonian footballer from scoring a goal.

“The future of Macedonia is not a game. Every challenge we overcome brings us closer to our goal. Only the SDSM has a clear vision and strength to take Macedonia to the European Union. Together we will win. There is no giving up on the future,” former Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski says in the video.

On April 24, the first round of the presidential elections in the RSM will be held. Parliamentary elections will be held on May 8, along with a second round of presidential elections.
