This was announced at a press conference by the president of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CNSB), Plamen Dimitrov, who presented data to the Consumer Price and Living Wage Survey of the Institute for Social and Trade Union Research and Training (ISSIO) as of March 2024.
Income needed to live up 1.1% quarter-on-quarter and 4.3% year-on-year, noted Dimitrov. He added that in the period March 2023 – March 2024, the cost of living increased by BGN 107 for a family of three and by BGN 60 for a single person.
