3,800 kilograms of plastic caps were collected by the spring “Caps for the Future” campaign in Veliko Tarnovo. It was held on Saturday, April 20 and involved hundreds of citizens and many children. During the action, 120 kg of jugs and 20 kg of plastic bottles were handed over. The total amount of donations was BGN 480.
Around 9 o’clock, volunteers accepted, loaded and unloaded at the recycler the collected quantities of plastic and jugs from the old capital, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Lyaskovets.
“The spring is usually smaller than the fall, but that didn’t stop us from doing our best. On Sunday we visited KSUPLUI-Tserova koria, we were pleasantly surprised! Their welcome was extremely warm, there are really clean and good people with exceptional abilities! We played together, cooked, showed us our talents, drew us, trained and many other things. Our idea was to remind that, in fact, they deserve exactly the same attention, respect, love and empathy as any existing person. They were very happy with our visit, and we parted with warm feelings and charged energy!”, Mirela Ivanova, regional coordinator of “Caps for the Future” and chairman of the “Club for the Future – Veliko Tarnovo”, explained after the event.
Thanks to the “Caps for the Future” campaign, 5 children’s neonatal ambulances and 2 off-road ambulances have already been purchased across the country.
