Nikolay Mitov is no longer the head coach of Montana, dsport learned, after the coach was fired from the club.
This happened after the team’s surprising loss with 1:3 against the struggling for survival in the Second League Belasica Petrich in the middle of the Ogosta Stadium. The management of the club has already gathered the players and informed them about the coaching change. It is expected that the former coach of the team, Svetlan Kondev, will be at the head of Montana after Mitov.
Despite the loss to Belasitsa, Montana remains third in the temporary ranking of our second echelon and has every chance to play at least a playoff for the elite.
Mitov has led Montana since the summer of 2023, with the goal in front of him being a return to the elite, but in the end he will not be able to pursue this goal to the end.
Mitov’s stay in Montana was his second at the head of the Northwestern team, where he was a coach in the period from December 2013 to May 2014.
