“For or against” with two premieres

“For or against” will present young actors on a commercial stage.

The theater school at the “Progress 1864” National Theater School is preparing the play based on the masterpiece “12 Angry Men” by Reginald Rose.

“Rehearsals started already at the end of last season and continued through this one as well. Girls and boys from the high school stage of the First and Second secondary schools take part in the show,” shared the director and head of the youth troupe at the commercial community center, Greta Nedelcheva.

She also told why she decided on this particular play. “In this project, I am excited about the themes of intolerance, indifference, quick decision-making, aggression and proving young people”, emphasized the director and revealed that the six young people are faced with the task of making an extremely important decision.

The roles will be played by Andrea Dyakova, Beloslava Popova, Zornitsa Ivanova, Mihaela Stancheva, Nikola Nikolov, Siyana Georgieva and Stanislav Kostov.

There will be two premiere dates for the play. It will be presented in the Chamber Hall of the Drama Theater – Targovishte from 5:30 p.m. Admission is by invitation on April 24, and free on April 25.

The young actors from the community center intend to participate with their new play in the theater festivals in Ruse and Pomorie in the summer.
