More than 10 poachers were caught near the “Koprinka” dam in just one week. Despite the ban, they used speedboats to enter and cast nets. Some of the poachers were extremely aggressive and it came to the intervention of police patrols, who were even threatened.

“In the last 10 days, poaching attempts of fishing with nets have been detected. A total of 15 people have been caught. The detected persons are not local. They heard that there are many fish in the dam and decided to try their luck. An organization was made from our side. She included long observations. We received help from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. The amount of fish that the offenders had caught was huge. The Central Fish Conservation Organization.
