The teachers’ team is the champion in the indoor football tournament in Lovech

The teachers’ team is the champion in the indoor football tournament, held yesterday in Lovech, the municipality reports. The competition was held on the field in the “Krasen Arena” sports complex. Nine teams participated, divided into three groups. The first three teams received cups and individual awards provided by the organizer of the tournament – the Bulgarian Association of Mini Football – Lovech.

The silver medals were won by the team of “Vazrazhdane-Kassis”, the bronze went to the boys of “Bonnie Holding”. Teams from the Municipality of Lovech, the Prison, the Ministry of the Interior, “Forage Foods”, Military Sports Club “Trans Logistics” and a team of drivers also participated.

Hristofor Petkov from the teachers’ team was chosen as the goalkeeper of the tournament. The “Defender of the Tournament” award went to Mesut Ali of the “Bonny Holding” team. Ioan Cherkezov was declared the most attractive competitor, and Anani Stefanov became the top scorer of the tournament – both from “Vazrazhdane – Kassis”. “Star of the tournament” is Ioan Petkov from the teachers’ team.

The mayor Stracimir Petkov presented the awards.

This is a pilot edition of “Business Cup Lovech”, more mini-football competitions for businesses are expected in September, the organizers announced.
