The basketball players of “Montana” defeated “Beroe” (Stara Zagora) 78:55 in the “Mladost” hall and reduced their deficit to 1-2 in the battle for the championship title.
The fourth match is here again today at 18:00.
The former coaches of the Montana team, Stefan Mihailov-Stepata and Nikolay Gospodinov, watched the match, as did the ex-captain of “Montana” and the Bulgarian national team, Dimana Makarieva. Everyone in the hall joined in the noble initiative taken by the club – to donate the money from the sold tickets to the former volleyball player of “Montana” Branimir Baev-Barney. He continues to struggle with a serious illness and is undergoing treatment in Turkey.

Terry Battle distinguished himself with a double-double for “Montana” 16 points and 12 rebounds. Teja Robinson added 15 points, Borislava Dencheva finished with 14 points for the success of the Montana girls.
For “Beroe” the best scorer was Nicolet Gilday with 15 points, Nikolina Zubac scored 10 points.
