Youth Center – Sliven with an information stand on the occasion of the European Youth Week

On the occasion of the European Youth Week, an information campaign was held in Sliven. It was initiated by the Youth Home and took place in the space around the Ball.

The main objectives of the European Youth Week are to provide opportunities for young people to become active and engaged citizens, as well as to draw attention to priority issues of importance to young people. Between 8 and 22 April, hundreds of events across Europe are promoting and promoting the opportunities offered to young people by public policies and initiatives at European, national, regional and local level, such as Erasmus+ or the European Solidarity Corps programme. This year, the upcoming elections for the European Parliament are also in the focus of the campaigns. On the specially created Together.eu portal, young people can learn about the importance of active civic participation and voting in these elections.

In addition to everything else, the young people of Sliven have the opportunity to learn more about the Eurodesk network and the opportunities for internships, training, education, work and travel in Europe.
