The second episode of the series about Bulgaria, filmed in cooperation with the Embassy of Bulgaria in Japan, was uploaded to the official YouTube channel of the Japanese television Fuji TV – World Buzz Channel on April 19, 2024 (Friday). This was shared by the team of our diplomatic mission in Tokyo for the “BG World” section of BTA.

In the first half of the second episode of the “Bulgarian Series”, Ambassador Marieta Arabadzhieva talks about the Bulgarian alphabet and presents works of Bulgarian art exhibited at the Bulgarian Embassy and the Residence of the Bulgarian Ambassador in Tokyo. During the rest of the episode, Ambassador Arabadzhieva and Japanese presenter Keiju Imaminato prepare together a traditional Bulgarian dish – cheese pie.

Our diplomatic representation says that the third episode of the series will be uploaded and presented on the Japanese Fuji TV YouTube channel on April 26, 2024 (Friday).

As BTA wrote, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Tokyo cooperates with the official YouTube channel of the Japanese television Fuji TV to film special episodes that present Bulgaria to the Japanese society.

The initiative, which aims to promote Bulgaria as a tourist destination and to present Bulgarian traditions and culture, includes the filming and broadcasting of several thematic episodes.

The first episode was uploaded on April 5, 2024 (Friday) and is dedicated to the March 3, 2024 Bulgarian Spring Festival “Martenitsa 2024”, which took place in Miyashita Park in Tokyo.
