Heating – Sliven celebrated Earth Day by planting cypress trees

This year from “Heating – Sliven – Eng. Angel Angelov” EAD celebrated April 22 – Earth Day under the motto “In harmony with nature” and planted 40 evergreen trees of the “Cypress” variety around the plant. “If we all contribute a part of ourselves, nature will thank us. Therefore, we call on both citizens and institutions in the city to take a step similar to ours. Regardless of how many trees are planted, they will certainly contribute to a better future for the environment”, comments engineer Pavlin Kostov, executive director of “Heating Sliven – engineer Angel Angelov”.

According to him, planting trees is one of the easiest ways to improve the world we live in.

Today is the holiday of our planet. Declared international in 1990. with a union in the protection of nature and the environment. In Bulgaria, it was celebrated for the first time in 1993.

Every year, Earth Day is celebrated by millions of people around the world, and people of all ages are included in the reverence for nature, which also educates small children.

Today highlights the need to protect the planet’s natural resources and raises the alarming issues of its preservation, such as climate change, destruction of ecosystems, water, soil and air pollution, endangered animal and plant species and depletion of non-renewable resources.
