Bulgaria and Kosovo deepen their bilateral relations

/KROSS/ Possibilities for upgrading bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Kosovo were the focus of the meeting between Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti.

Satisfaction was expressed with the active political relations between the two countries, and the willingness to expand bilateral cooperation, as well as the partnership to strengthen security, stability and prosperity in the region, was confirmed. The two heads of government agreed that steps are needed to deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, highlighting the potential for upgrading relations in the field of trade and economic relations, information and communication technologies.

In the course of the conversation, Prime Minister Glavchev assured the guest that Bulgaria continues to support Kosovo’s European integration and Euro-Atlantic perspective, as well as the country’s candidacy for membership in the Council of Europe.
