3 championship titles for the wrestlers of “Chernomorets”

Competitors from the freestyle wrestling club “Chernomorets” returned with honors from the State Championship. They won 3 championships, a total of 7 medals and a team second place. All are graduates of Yuri Gagarin State University.

The individual-team championship in Sandanski took place amid strong competition, with 243 boys under 15 years of age from 52 clubs from all over the country taking part. Only 4 points were not enough for the young talents from Burgas to triumph with the team title. The hosts from “Bi Real” – Sandanski collected an asset of 131 points, “Chernomorets – St. Borba” finished with 127 points.

Georgi Ivanov became champions in cat. 52 kg, Valentin Gospodinov up to 57 kg. and Petar Alexandrov over 85 kg. Stoyan Georgiev is a silver medalist in cat. up to 68 kg. The collection of awards – bronze, was completed by Yanaki Kovachev up to 41 kg., Stoyan Rashev up to 44 kg. and Dimitar Alabashev up to 57 kg.

The representative of the “Burgas” club in the classical style, Denis Veli, won a bronze medal in the cat. over 85 kg.
