P A pregnant woman became an early victim of the poisonous processionary caterpillars that attacked our pine forests.

She was attacked by the vermin while trying to sweep them out of a churchyard.

The pregnant woman is from the village of Krajnitsi, Dupnishko. It was in the courtyard of the Ascension of the Lord church.

He shared that the caterpillars, as is usual for them, had lined up and people were stepping on them. She and her friend decided to sweep them out.

As a result of this action alone, she gets a red rash on her neck. As she is pregnant, she became worried and immediately went to “Pirogov”, informs glasnews.

After what happened, the Municipality of Dupnitsa took up the removal of the procession girls.

“Thank you to the Municipality of Dupnitsa for removing these bastards,” wrote Marina Tuyova.

Experts advise that at the slightest sign that a dog or person has had contact with the caterpillar, immediate medical attention should be sought.

The bodies of the pine cone emit two allergens, explained the allergist Dr. Tihomir Mustakov for “Telegraph”.

According to him, when meeting with the dangerous insect, half of the people form an allergic reaction, and the other half – a toxic reaction.

The specialist warns that if a pet licks the insect, it can lead to necrosis of its tongue, suffocation and death.
