141 years since the establishment of “Elias Canetti” PGIU

Among the guests of the event was the Chief Secretary of the Regional Administration, Irena Todorova, who said that the school has established itself as an elite educational center, educating studentsthem to kindness, wisdom, persistence and striving for new heights. “I highly appreciate the importance of PGIU “Elias Caneti” for the prosperity of the region and the construction of a modern and promising environment for the development of excellently prepared specialists. I am proud that the Professional high school in Economics and Management B ruse is synonymous with quality education combining tradition and innovation“, she shared in her address to the director of the school, Mariana Gerkova. Todorova wished the teachers to encourage more people to live according to the dynamics of modern times and thanked them for the professionalism and patience with which they work. According to her, the successes of the school’s graduates once again prove the importance of spirituality and enlightenment for the Bulgarian people. Todorova wished to studentsfor them to be proud of what they have achieved and not to forget the covenants of their patron, because they are the key to our better future. The chief secretary handed the director a congratulatory address on behalf of the regional governor Danail Kovachev.

For her part, Garkova shared some of the greatest successes of the school’s graduates in recent months and said that she hoped that learning would remain a pleasant adventure for every student. We recall that studentsthe students of PGIU “Elias Caneti” have won prizes in a number of competitions in accounting and entrepreneurship, Olympiads in history, Bulgarian language and literature, as well as in English, and they also have no less sports performances. Among the greatest successes are the awards from the International Plovdiv Fair for educational and training enterprises.

It is given by the school’s pedagogical council and is an assessment of the overall contribution both in the learning process and in extracurricular activities. The award was presented to Mihaela Stoyanova, who is a 12th grade student majoring in “Economics and Management”.

At the moment in rusethe professional high school more than 450 are trained in economics and management students in a total of 17 classes from 8th to 12th grade. A dual form of study in the specialty “Trade” is also available. The event was held in the “Kanev Center” of ruseour university.
