Today, April 22, 2024, in the meeting hall of the Rectorate of the University of Ruse, the rector Prof. Dr. Eng. Dr. Galina Ivanova and Associate Professor Stoyanka Smrikarova met with guests from universities in Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. The meeting was attended by Prof. Sanzharbek Erdolatov, who was rector of the Ala Tu International University in Bishkek for 6 years, and for one year he has been an adviser to the rector, Prof. Aklbek Chamerov – deputy rector of the Kyrgyz State Technical University in Bishkek, Dr. Mahabat Baitokova – lecturer at the National Krygian State University in Bishkek, Naira Avetyan and Naira Aloyan from the Armenian National Agrarian University (Yerevan).
During the conversation, the possibilities for deepening cooperation in the field of higher education, joint scientific research projects, training of students and doctoral students were discussed.
The meeting took place in a warm friendly atmosphere. The guests and the hosts expressed their satisfaction with their work together so far and their common will to continue their fruitful partnership.
They are guests under the Erasmus+ program for a period of one week. The guests will also participate in the second national scientific and practical conference “Digital transformation of education – problems and solutions” with an emphasis on the application of artificial intelligence, which will be opened on April 25 (Thursday). A tourist tour and a visit to Bulgarian sights are planned.
At the end of the meeting, the rector’s management and the guests exchanged protocol gifts.
