If the left space is sick, so is the political life of Bulgaria. Atanas Merdzhanov, a former MP from the BSP, stated this to the BNR.
It is sad that the left is increasingly absent from Bulgarian politics as a systematic practice of governance and legislation.
“When it is fragmented, the left cannot be strong.
“The Left” and other left formations were crossed out – this puts dividing line which cannot lead to unity and a solid representation of the left in the new parliament”.
In the lists of BSP, Merdzhanov would like to see consistency – “such as actions on a personal and public level, to be people and experts, and with experience”.
“The current leadership is pushing more and more citizen quotas, and we are shrinking and remaining in the fifth position in the parliament”.
Let the analysts be more humble in their predictability, because it seems that they are more active than political actors in shaping the agenda of the society, the former red functionary also appeals.
I hope that the candidates for the new Bulgarian parliament will be more active and more honest, explained Merdzhanov in the program “Nescho more”.
“It is important how the political forces that will gain trust will react.
At some point, things can get out of hand if these choices don’t provide the satisfaction and peace of mind you need.
Atanas Merdzhanov was awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of Tundzha Municipality”.
“Today, politics took a backseat. People demonstrated the fruits of their labor. I was impressed by the Investment Forum.”
