“There is no other team in Bulgaria with support like Levski’s! There is no way I can say “no” to the “blues”!”

--

The former head coach of Levski Slavisha Stoyanovich gave an extensive interview in which he commented on the current situation of “Gerena”. According to the Slovenian, the “blues” are currently alternating good games with bad ones. The specialist named his favorite players in Nikolay Kostov’s team and praised the fans of the capital city.

At Levski’s it’s “warm-cold, warm-cold”

“Levski alternates a few good games with a few worse ones. They play up here, down there. With Murray Stoilov, the team played well, the Bulgarian Cup was won. Now it’s, as we say, warm-cold, warm-cold. At the moment the club is in a better situation than it was in my time. Levski has good players in its team, while during the coronavirus pandemic there was neither money nor team”. recalled Stojanovic.

“There is no other team in Bulgaria with support like Levski”

“Every time I come to Sofia, I meet with Levski supporters. I have a strong emotional connection with the team and its supporters. I can’t say what Levski lacks, I’m not inside things and I don’t know exactly how the coaching staff works. I know with certainty that Levski has maximum support from its supporters. There is no other team like Levski in Bulgaria. The fans of Levski are unique!”, assured the specialist.

Slavisa Stojanovic’s favorites in Levski’s current team

“Levski has good players, it is not very easy to single out just a few… I like Ricardinho. I must mention Marin Petkov – he is my boy! A very stable player, he has a future. Welton knew how to make a difference, he is one of the best players of Levski in the last five or six years. I will also name him, captain, with technique,” the Slovenian pointed out his favourites.

“I can’t say “no” or “can’t” to Levski!”

“Twice I worked in Levski with all my heart and left offended. Certainly both times I did not part with Levski through my fault. I don’t know why it happened like that, in the end we had good results. It is difficult to answer your question, but in life you should never say “never”. There is no way to say “no” or “can’t” to Levski!” Slavisha Stojanovic did not hide.
