The handball “Lokomotiv” was in Lovech and is in the “Superfinal” for the men’s title – Vestnik Borba

“Lokomotiv” achieved a second victory over “Osm” (Lovech), this time with 23:22 (16:10) and qualified for the super final for the championship title in men’s handball.

The rematch of the semi-final playoffs was played in the sports hall of Lovech. In this stage of the championship, teams play to two wins from three games. In the first match, Lokomotiv won and took a 1:0 lead. The handball players from the city of lilacs needed a must win to keep their chances of entering the super final.

From the very first whistle, the two teams threw themselves into a tough battle all over the field. In the opening minutes, the “railwaymen” were more concentrated. In defense, they didn’t allow the opponent to score, but in attack, they realized their chances and by the middle of the half they drew 4:7. Until the end, they gradually increased the lead and went home at the break with a score of 10:16.

In the second half, the hosts bet on a more aggressive game and gradually reduced the difference to 16:19 in the 45th minute. “Locomotive” skillfully defended and did not allow a turn. Until the end, they managed to keep the lead and congratulate themselves with the victory 22:23.

In the other match, “Shoumen-61” defeated “Frigate” and also qualified for the super final. The first meeting is in Shumen on May 11. At the same time, “Osm” and “Frigate” will enter into a clash for the bronze medals.
