Boyko Borisov will initiate a ban on Russian gas entering Bulgaria (video)

The leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov, announced that he will initiate a vote in the parliament to ban the entry of Russian gas into Bulgaria.

“I don’t know if in the coming days in the parliament I will find enough support to ban not only Russian oil, but also Russian gas,” said Borisov. “Then I will ask all the commissioners of the Greek companies, because that is the only place where gas comes in”.

“I will talk to the Executive Committee of GERB, because it is quite revolutionary, but very honest,” he emphasized at a party meeting of GERB in Sofia. “At the moment, after the extremely anti-Russian actions of the PP, Bulgaria only has Russian gas,” the GERB leader quipped. “We have paid for 11 tankers of Russian gas, as if they were transported through Bulgaria, we completely import Russian gas from Greece,” he stated.

“Lukoil – whatever apocalyptic scenarios were created, it was mainly Denkov who created them – from the assembly, we ensured that billions would go to Putin,” said Borisov, quoted by BTA. According to the leader of GERB, his party will suffer negative consequences for being with the PP-DB.

“Peevski was a small child when GERB was created,” Borisov countered. He stated that these false things are being spread because the PP-DB cannot tell their voters that because of the posts, self-love and foreign travel they have broken the government. “They have to find someone to blame, it’s GERB,” Borisov explained their theses.
