The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a yellow code for significant rainfall in 7 areas for April 23. Heavy rains are expected tomorrow in Sofia, Sofia region, Vidin, Montana, Pernik, Kyustendil and Blagoevgrad.

In these areas, the amount of precipitation per day is expected to be between 20 and 35 liters per square meter.

Tomorrow night the rain will taper off and stop. A decrease in cloudiness is also ahead, bTV reported.

Clouds will increase and thicken tonight and showers will start from the southwest. The wind will be oriented from the east-southeast and will be weak, in Eastern Bulgaria – to moderate.

The minimum temperatures will mostly be between 6° and 11°, in Sofia – around 7°. Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with rain showers. In places in Western Bulgaria, the quantities will be significant.

In the evening, the rain will weaken and stop, and the clouds will begin to break and decrease. A moderate wind will blow from the east-southeast, mainly in Ludogorie, it will be temporarily strong. The maximum temperatures will be between 12° and 17°, in Sofia – around 12°.

Over the mountains it will be cloudy with rain, at a height above 2000 meters it will be mixed with snow. A moderate to strong southerly wind will blow, bringing in slightly warmer air. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 9°, at 2000 meters – around 3°.

Over the Black Sea it will be mostly cloudy with showers. A moderate wind will blow from the east-southeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 12° and 15°. The temperature of the sea water is 12°-13°. The excitement of the sea will be 2-3 bales.
