Coalition “THE LEFT!”, represented by equal political subjects, aims for representation in the next National Assembly and the European Parliament. This was stated to the media by the chairman of the coalition council of the formation, Kostadin Paskalev, after “THE LEFT!” submitted his documents to the CEC for participation in the early parliamentary and European Parliament elections on June 9. “This is the third time that “THE LEFT!” appears in elections. In the local vote, we doubled our result compared to the parliamentary ones. We are confident that we will be able to maintain this trend“Paskalev explained.

When asked about Vanya Grigorova’s declared readiness to independently participate in the battle for early parliamentary elections, Paskalev explained that an initiative for a meeting with the leadership of “THE LEFT!” earlier came from Grigorova herself. In the process of the talks, it became clear that her claimants are incompatible with the principles of the left unification, namely, equality of the participants in a coalition “THE LEFT!”.

“I believe that the stated claims for sole decision-making in terms of policy formation, priority setting and personnel disposition in “THE LEFT!” are unacceptable to usKostadin Paskalev told the media.
