Painting exhibition from the fund of HG “Atanas Sharenkov”

An exhibition of paintings from the fund of HG “Atanas Sharenkov” under the title “Looking at the present” was opened in Haskovo.

The exposition was realized under the project “Cultural diversity in Haskovo”. It was developed in accordance with the implemented policies of the Municipality of Haskovo to improve the conditions and quality of presentation of the rich cultural heritage on the territory of the municipality.

The project activity includes organizing new exhibitions and presenting the cultural heritage of Haskovo and the municipality. New systems for hanging pictures have already been installed in the “Atanas Sharenkov” gallery. A picture depot was also built to store the exhibits from the gallery’s rich collection. Until April 28, art connoisseurs can see an exhibition of restored and previously unseen paintings from the fund of the cultural institution. Puzzles with paintings from the gallery’s fund were presented and presented to the visitors at the exhibition. The goal is to arouse the interest of the public and especially young people in fine art, comments the director of the gallery, Tatyana Foreva.

The project “Cultural diversity in Haskovo” is implemented by Haskovo Municipality in partnership with “Atanas Sharenkov” Art Gallery – Haskovo, “Otets Paisiy – 1925” Primary School, Voivodovo village, Haskovo Municipality and North Consulting Ehf, Iceland. The main goal is to stimulate creative social change and the application of an entrepreneurial approach in the management and access to cultural heritage on the territory of Haskovo Municipality.
