The initiatives, dedicated to April 22 – Earth Day, this year are held under the title “Planet against plastic”.
In PPMG “Vasil Levski” – Smolyan, they restored the traditional competitions that demonstrate the knowledge, but also the creativity of students in the field of natural and social sciences. The tasks for the teams were related to plastic recycling as daily practices in the family, as government policy and as creative ideas for products from used plastic products.
The graduate of the Art High School Ivan Sabrutev was part of the “Polyethylene” team, which took third place in the competitive part.
The big surprise for participants, guests and jury was a review of clothing models made of polythene bags and sacks. The students of the 9th grade in the Art High School made their clothes with the help of their classmates and with the creative support of the teachers of Art Textiles and Painting Margarita Barganska and Victoria Rizova.
