IN Gabrovo is yet to be discovered retail park with a total built-up area of 4076 square meters. It will include six shops and parking, which will be semi-underground. The entrance and exit for cars will be from “Vit” street. Pedestrian access will be from “Alexander Stamboliyski” Street.
This can be seen from the investment proposal submitted to the RISV – Veliko Tarnovo on April 12, 2024, for the EIA, Economic.bg saw.
The investor in the project is the Bulgarian company Gabrovo Retail Park Ltd. It was registered in 2022, and its managers are Vladimir Yordanov Angelov and Svetoslav Rosimirov Mateev. The company also has five other partners, an Economic.bg check in the Trade Register found.
According to a website created specifically for the retail park, the complex is expected to open this year.
Characteristics of the buildings
It is foreseen commercial establishments to be of different sizes and configuration – with an area of 131 to 1174 sq. m. Construction of a semi-basement level for parking is also planned.
The shopping complex will be built in an urbanized property, which is a former industrial area (on “Alexander Stamboliyski” street).
The object will also have a positive impact from the point of view of socio-economic conditions: creating permanent jobs for the service staff, maintaining the infrastructure,” the investor wrote.
