Students from Stara Zagora participated in an Easter children’s sports festival

Nearly 80 children participated in the Easter children’s sports festival, organized by the Municipality of Stara Zagora and the Tourist Association “Sarnena Gora”. The event was held in the “Ivan Vazov” Sports Hall in Stara Zagora. Before the start, the children from the preparatory group of VI Primary School “St. Nicholas” delighted the participants of the competition with songs and dances.

The teams of “Dimitar Blagoev” Primary School, VI “St. Nicholas” Primary School and “Kiril Hristov” Primary School competed in three games “Friends”, “Orienteering” and “Bivouac”. In a fun quiz, the participants also demonstrated a good knowledge of the natural sights and tourist attractions in Bulgaria.

The team of VI Primary School “St. Nicholas” took first place, the team of Primary School “Kiril Hristov” won second place, and the team of Primary School “Dimitar Blagoev” took third place.

The sports festival passed with many joyful emotions, and at the end everyone was awarded with gifts from the Municipality of Stara Zagora, Decathlon store and Tourist Association “Sarnena Gora”. The gifts were handed over by Petko Krumov, head of the “Sports Activities” department, reported the press center of the Municipality.
