Political party “Middle European Class” leaves the coalition PP-DB – Politika

Political party “Middle European Class” is leaving the PP-DB coalition and will probably appear in a different format in the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections.

Today, the press center of the party sent a message to the media in which they set out the reasons for their decision.

Here is what is written in the statement of the PP SEC:

“With full responsibility to all voters and citizens, as well as to the future of the country, the leadership of the Middle European Class has decided not to accept the invitation to continue its participation in the current coalition format for the upcoming elections and to leave the coalition with PP-DB.

Our decision to support the creation of Continuing the Change in 2021, as well as the participation in the PP-DB coalition, was based on our belief that it is important to work to achieve reforms and changes that are essential for the future of Bulgaria and which should be in opposition to the previous vicious model of GERB and DPS.

However, PP-DB’s subsequent decision to join forces with GERB and DPS proved that they could not thus oppose their vicious model. We of the Middle European Class, as a political party, have always been strict in our principles and consistent in our actions.

We believe that our values ​​cannot be changed and joint work with this composition of GERB and DPS is impossible for us. Therefore, we cannot remain part of a union that allows working with corrupt representatives of the political parties from GERB and DPS, who serve only the business circles, instead of serving the people and society.

Our fight against the management model of GERB and DPS continues. We will not give up the fight against corruption and the state captured by it, which are draining our country’s resources and halting its progress.

Within the next few days, the leadership of the Middle European Class party will meet in a meeting in order to discuss and decide on the party’s participation in the upcoming early parliamentary elections and the elections for the European Parliament”.
