A new school will be built in the Burgas district “Kraymorie”, it will be located meters from the sea

A new school will be built in the “Kraimorie” district of Burgas. At the first stage, it is planned that the school will have nine classrooms, specialized offices, a gym, a swimming pool, areas for administrative and support staff, separate areas in the courtyard, etc. This became known at a session of the Municipal Council in Burgas. Today, the councilors voted to approve the Municipality’s agreement with the Narcoop Consumer Cooperative to release part of the adjacent land in order to move on to the realization of the project.
There is no greater satisfaction for a mayor than to work for the creation of another new school, said the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov. Today, a big step was taken for the realization of the project for the new school in Burgas. It will be a branch of “Alexander Georgiev – Kodjakafaliyata” Primary School. It will be located meters from the sea. I have many ideas for this school, including the use of the summer by students as a base for sea sports and the acquisition of various sea skills, Nikolov also pointed out.
He noted that in recent years the “Kraymorie” district has become an attractive and rapidly developing area, given its proximity to the city and its natural features. There is no built and functioning school in the neighborhood, and there are no other existing educational institutions nearby, and this undoubtedly creates transportation and time inconveniences for both parents and students, the mayor said.
Currently, more than 80 children from the neighborhood from first to seventh grade attend educational institutions mainly in the central part of the city, which further exacerbates the problems related to the lack of available places in schools in this part of the city. The construction of the new school in “Kraymorie” will give students the opportunity not to travel every day and will relieve the capacity of the schools in the city center, the mayor commented.
BTA reminds that according to preliminary estimates, the building of the new school in the Sarafovo district should be ready by the end of this year. In the old school of “Sarafovo”, the classrooms do not reach and cannot accommodate the children for the school hours.
The construction of the two educational buildings will be according to the project “Upgrading the educational infrastructure in the Municipality of Burgas, through the construction of new buildings for schools” and will be with primary energy demand, i.e. 20% lower than the requirement for a building with close to zero net energy consumption.
