Five new professions for students from Vrachansko

In 61 classes of 33 schools, the students will be taught the territory of Vratsa region. 1,443 seventh-graders have the opportunity to continue their education in educational institutions in the district.

The Regional Department of Education (RDE) – Vratsa has announced the state admission plan for the year 2024/2025. 15 are profiled classes, 29 are with STEM professions, 8 with a STEM profile, dual classes are 4.5, with an expected shortage on the labor market – 21 classes, 3 are protected classes, there are also 5 new professions at the request of businesses in three schools, he told Radio Vidin Loreta Koleva, head of the Vratsa Regional Administrative Office:

“For the new school year, we are announcing a state admission plan in the Vratsa region in 8th grade in 61 classes in 33 schools, of which 10 vocational high schools, 2 profiled high schools, 17 secondary schools, 4 unified schools. In line with the needs of the labor market, we traditionally offer admission to classes with an expected shortage, they are 21.5 classes and 3 protected ones. The requested classes with dual training, which due to the connection with practice are confirmed as effective, are 4.5. We are developing admissions to STEM classes…”

The state reception plan also plans five new professions, divided into three schools- PG “Vasil Levski” Mezdra, PG on clothing Byala Slatina, SU “Hristo Botev” Oryahovo.

“The new professions are “Construction technician”, “Railway technician”, “Cookie-confectioner”, “Social activities worker”, “System programmer”… 15 are our profiled classes – foreign languages, natural sciences, mathematics, etc. The competition for them is great.”

This year there will be admission to 5th grade – 2 classes with 52 students have been applied for in PPMG, Loreta Koleva also pointed out.
