The Regional Environment and Water Inspectorate found a car wash in Varna that was pouring waste water into a nearby ravine. The violation was detected after citizens reported a white liquid in the canal between Tsarevets and Kresna streets on March 21. On the spot, the inspectors found that the complaint was well-founded.
During the inspection, it was established that the waste water from a car wash on Tsarevets Street flows into a tank located on the shore of Shokerov Canal.
The tank is equipped with a drain valve, through which it is possible to drain the waste water to the gully. A prescription was given for the faucet to be prepared for sealing.
The prescription is fulfilled and the tap is sealed.
The waste water from the tank, by means of a submersible pump, is directed to the sewerage system of Varna.
