Bulgaria is part of Europe both geographically and politically.
Why should Bulgarians come out on June 9 to vote?
GERB/SDS MEP Asim Ademov answered this question for NOVINI.BG.
“Voting is not only a way to support, but also to change. Let us, with the voice of all Bulgarians, make sure that we have a proud Bulgaria in a strong Europe,” he said.
Ademov with a smile revealed what were his strongest moments during this mandate of the European Parliament (EP), which was filled with challenges, crises, wars. “Somewhere we took very good positions, but somewhere not,” he explained, but clarified that the lessons are there.
He shared that he mainly worked in two commissions and that the pink cover was a personal achievement for him, as well as that the Bulgarian livestock breeders and tobacco producers continue to receive money.
Asim Ademov also commented on the 2 in 1 elections in Bulgaria. According to him, as corny as it sounds, Bulgaria needed the government it had. But, according to him, PP-DB did not think about Bulgaria, but about their own benefits.
Regarding which lists he will be on – for national or European parliament, Ademov explained that he will be where the party decides. “I can be on the list, I can not be, but whatever the party decides. It is distinguished by discipline,” he declared and categorically explained that he would do his best for the success of GERB.
