The councilors approved the Municipality’s agreement with the Consumer Cooperative “Narcoop” to free up part of the neighboring land in order to move on to the implementation of the project.
“There is no greater satisfaction for a mayor than to work for the creation of yet another new school,” said Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.
The school will be a branch of “Alexander Georgiev – Kodjakafaliyata” Primary School and will be located meters from the sea. “I have many ideas for this school, including the use of the summer by students as a base for sea sports and the acquisition of various sea skills,” Nikolov also pointed out.
He noted that in recent years the district “Kraimorie” has become an attractive and rapidly developing area, given its proximity to the city and its natural features. There is no built and functioning school in the neighborhood, and there are no other existing educational institutions nearby, and this undoubtedly creates transportation and time inconveniences for both parents and students, the mayor said.
Currently over 80 children from the neighborhood from first to seventh grade pfeel educational institutions mainly in the central part of the city, which further aggravates the problems related to the lack of vacancies in schools in this part of the city. The construction of the new school in “Kraymorie” will give students the opportunity not to travel every day and will relieve the capacity of the schools in the city center, the mayor commented.
