Who’s wrong, who’s right? A conductor attacks and shows the middle finger to minors who boarded drunk

Conductor insults and hits a girl in public transport in Plovdiv. This is according to a woman from Plovdiv who reported to our media that the action took place on bus line #1 around 9:30 pm yesterday evening.

The 16-year-old girl, who was in the company of two other 15-year-old girls, said they got on the bus with a glass of Sprite in hand, and the conductor warned them to throw the drinks away, but the girl started filming her. This also provoked the aggressive behavior of the conductor. He said that there was no instruction on the bus prohibiting the consumption of drinks, and therefore they allowed themselves to get on with glasses in hand.

“This woman is showing lewd behavior like, middle fingers, ‘alcohol’ type slurs to underage girls who got on the bus with a closed bottle of Sprite with a tap. After all that, the honorable lady hit the phone, whereupon the clip stopped. This is followed by repeated threats such as “I will beat you up, I will break your phone” and that the law enforcement agencies will be called.she said.

She adds that after hitting her, she told the girl that if she didn’t get off the bus, she would beat her.

“This is not normal behavior towards people, and unfortunately, disrespectful behavior is a common practice”she stated.

The media forwarded the report to Kostadin Totkov from “Autobus Transports”, who carried out an investigation. He added that always in such situations the truth is somewhere in the middle and one cannot blame only one side. He clarified that the consumption of food, drinks and cigarettes on the bus is strictly prohibited.

He said that on the evening in question, the underage girls boarded the bus with a bottle of beer in hand and in an inadequate condition according to the conductor.

“This can be confirmed by the police as the conductor signaled to the law enforcement authorities that the girls were in an inadequate condition and they came to the scene. They poured alcohol from the bottle and then called the parents of the girls to come and collect them” he stated. He said that the conductor regretted her behavior, but the girls behaved indecently and challenged her.
