On the occasion of April 16 – Bulgarian Constitution Day and a professional holiday of the lawyer, the District Court – Stara Zagora received with great satisfaction students studying law at the Burgas Free University.
With appreciation for the fruitful partnership, the chairman of the institution – judge Krasimir Georgiev and Prof. Dr. Maria Neikova – long-time Dean of the Center for Legal Sciences at BSU, co-organizer and guest of the event, exchanged certificates of appreciation. The administrative head of the court and judge Rumyana Boncheva welcomed the future lawyers with wishes for successful implementation in the legal profession they have chosen as their vocation.
During the visit to the District Court – Stara Zagora, the students attended an open court session on a commercial case. During the court session, the graduates of the Center for Legal Sciences at the BSU had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the procedural actions of the court and the parties in the course of the civil trial, as well as with procedural actions related to the questioning of a witness and the hearing of expertise.
After the conclusion of the case, Judge Boncheva explained to the students the basic principles of applying the law in solving the legal cases that come for consideration in the court and answered the questions that arose in connection with the case under consideration.
The visit to the District Court – Stara Zagora of the future lawyers-students from BSU contributes to the acquisition of knowledge and the practical application of what they learned at the University, related to the studied legal disciplines. District Court – Stara Zagora is always open for cooperation and interaction with the young people of our city and of Bulgaria on all issues related to laws, administration of justice and jurisprudence.
